Mission 301 is an international art, culture, and education initiative aimed at creating a globally unique cycle of images.
301 artists from numerous countries collaboratively create 301 large-scale paintings depicting the most significant events of the Bible. Each scene is interpreted from an individual artistic perspective, blending cultural diversity with a shared historical heritage.
Mission 301 understands art as a universal language – a language that connects people regardless of origin, culture, or religion, and builds bridges between past, present, and future.

Mission 301 is more than an art exhibition. The project combines art, history, and education, complemented by a three-volume book series, international traveling exhibitions, as well as innovative presentation and educational formats.
Our goal is to create a cultural legacy that inspires people across generations and demonstrates that art is a universal language capable of overcoming boundaries and connecting people.

A Journey Through 301 Masterpieces
The full catalog moves from Genesis to Revelation and closes with the discovery of the Qumran scrolls — the rediscovery of the Word after two thousand years.
I did not want to paint alone. I wanted to invite the world.
At thirteen, Walerij Baranow discovered an old book of biblical engravings in Vienna. Decades later, after finding it again in Tel Aviv, the forgotten dream returned: not to copy Doré, but to feel these stories again with artists from across the world.
